First, a little addendum to the animation post from last week: you can check out more of Gabor’s work on his Behance site. Just follow this link.
I don’t know why I keep finding really amazing animations that have no color. Maybe I need to do some serious soul searching. Or, at least try to find more colorful animations. If you have found something you would like me to share, please post a link or send me a message. Keep it clean!
In any case, today I will share with you a piece from Blobina, an animator based in Scotland.

I love the story and the gorgeous hand drawing. Just amazing. I may have a thing for flickering, atmospheric drawings.
Enjoy!
I can see why you love this – I really enjoyed the minimalist animation, but also the ‘story’ about fear and friendship =D
I agree; the story is moving and well told. This piece is such a well resolved film that effectively deploys all the elements available to an animator, from animation to story to sound.
Yes, very well thought out and executed =D
